halloween, not my holiday. i dunno last year was awesome with the greatest costumes ever. besides that it never really did much for me. It was like, when I was a kid and had my birthday parties at Carvel, there would always be halloween shit up. and i'd be like fuck man its not halloween anymore take that shit down. it's my fucking birthday. assholes. anyway, my short script called Ralph Field is turning into something pretty awesome. screenwriting is easily my favorite class. easily. its like all those discussions about what was better, empire or return of the jedi(which still isn't even a discussion), but with like other dudes who ramble on about movies like i do. its awesome. but yeah. empire strikes back. will always be number 1. not even a discussion. by the way if you get the picture, you are truly awesome.

life is interesting. college and whatnot. its pretty much, i work, and i go to school. i'm really looking forward to thanksgiving. took off work for that weekend. said i was going to boston. but thank god that was a complete lie 4 whole days with wp's finest. i got to start saving my money better. completely blew this weeks check, in a week. but the good thing is, every friday another paycheck should come. except yesterday when i called out sick. fuck them. i just want to make movies.

no-shave november. i get this invite from chris, i couldn't tell you how pumped i got reading it. finally. fucking finally. women get march for women's rights month. i'm pretty sure april is something women related too. and hey i'm about to vote for a woman for vice president. but now. finally. we get november. a month where we celebrate the birth of andrew southard. well the first day we do at least. no-shave november. a celebration of men and everything we stand for. i can only hope that this one day becomes a nationally recognized holiday. i am pumped beyond reason.

ah my wonderful blog! my fucking website! i'm sorry, very sorry. i've been way too busy with shit, but there is no excuse. this thing right here, LIAH, is the greatest thing I ever created. and i'm not just talking about how cool it is having a website, but LIAH. the og. since day 1, life inside andrews head. like what a MAD good idea. and it stuck. nice. i'm so happy i have it. its like a constant book. speaking of which, Brooklyn, A Series of Autobiographical Essays, by Andrew Southard. my book. and now that i look at that. thats a mad good title for a movie. i'm totally taking that. theres just so much man. so much. i want it all. nice. be well.

ahhhhh. hockey season has started. but more importantly, ISLANDER SEASON starts tonight. at the rock in jersey. its looking like the franchise, rick dipietro, is gonna be in net. we've got the kid kyle okposo ready to go. our new power play quarterback mark streit here to make the power play explosive. we've got tambellini, bergenheim, frans nielsen, and blake comeau all ready to make this their team. and the captain bill guerin with his buddy doug weight ready to lead this team. of course, like always, every magazine, network, espn tsn yahoo all that shit, has us picked last or next to last. well they do that shit every year. so fuck that. the islanders are ready to do somethign. if they stay healthy, they've got a pretty decent team this year. every year injuries fuck with this. they're starting to fuck with us already. but i'm feeling good, its ok. islanders baby, i fucking love this team. LETS GO ISLANDERS.

dag, i have to write some bullshit philosophy paper. i have no idea what i'm gonna do. i've got my first real day of work coming up tuesday too. exciting stuff, i'm ready to get some money. no jets this week, dag. but hockey season! well islander season, friday! so pumped.

i am so fucking pumped. season opener, isles vs devils. and me and zman are going. zman and i are going excuse me. if only it was at the coliseum, but hey i'm pumped to go to a game in jersey. looks like a sick stadium. and so far my best experience going to a hockey game wasn't even in long island. shall i take you back to that glorious day in madison square garden, surrounded by rangers fans, and we won 7-4. amazing. and now we've got a clean slate, a fresh season. with kyle okposo. i can't fucking wait.
