i saw watchmen. it definitely had its good moments. there were parts that i was really fucking into and i was like wow this is a great movie. opening credits were awesome. thats not a knock at the film either, really great opening credits. bunch of great other scenes. i felt like in the end the story just didn't really work for a film. definite valiant effort and a step up for zack snyder's career. i thought the nite owl was the most fascinating character. the comic was written during the 80s way before nolan's batman, and this character was like an ode to an earlier version of batman. like almost the corny guy that he used to be but a different look at him. very interesting. will it go down as the best comic movie of all time? of course not. but not bad.
