islanders lost today. they put up a fight in the last 5 minutes, but that's about it. it's all good though cause of the yankees sweep and the jets are on monday night football tonight. i'm a huge monday night football fan. something about football on monday, i always try to watch it. now we have mark the sanchise in the national spotlight, i'm pumped. i'm close to finding a job also, so everything is starting to come together. a win tonight would be huge.
also, i got NO greater joy than seeing jonathan papelbon completely blow the red sox season. ah all is right in the world. i don't give a shit if he wants to play for the yankees, our bullpen is too dirty for him anyway.
we could always use a good bat boy though.
