when it comes to stoner films, pineapple express is number 1. without a doubt. i mean like "stoner comedies", half baked is pretty funny but no where near this masterpiece. cheech and chong? fuck cheech and chong. tommy chong is funny in that 70's show, there's no denying that. besides that though, useless. i mean you have the absolute perfect cast for a movie. seth rogen is fantastic and represents the common baked man like no one else. james franco brings the awesome on multiple levels. danny mcbride? you serious? those are three of the funniest dudes on the planet right there. bam. uncle eddie and craig robinson as hitmen. bill lumbergh to round it off as the villian. this is the perfect movie, it really is, it's the perfect movie. everytime i watch it i always go back to the audience reaction when i saw it opening night. when red comes busting through the barn, i just remember how the place erupted. fucking classic man.
