ah how i wish i was saving liahs before 500. the lost files so to speak, never to be seen ever again. would've come in handy as we mark this not so pleasant anniversary. on the 22nd it was the four year anniversary of blink-182 calling it quits. a dark, dark day in the history of my life. all i remember is reading all the rumors on b182.com thinking it can't be true, and then of course was the announcement. blink 182 was going on "indefinite hiatus". i just remember sitting at my computer, balling. absolutely terrible. well thank god we got them back four years later. who knews what their new album is gonna sound like, but the fact that i get to see blink-182 makes it not even matter. in other news, i had to quit smoking for a week or so. i don't have any money. yeah, i know. i had my last one like ten minutes ago so right now i'm good, but if another liah doesn't come for a while it's because i've thrown my laptop against the wall in nicotine induced anger. wish me luck.

farewell chris campoli. definitely up there with my favorite players, but he wasn't really playing that great. now it's jack hillen's time to step up and we've got another first round pick. it's gonna be a huge draft for the islanders. two first rounders, including hopefully the first overall, and three second rounders. it's been a tough year for the islanders. i'll admit it i haven't watched every single game, hey it's not easy. but it's a rebuilding year, and we've got a lot of positives moving forward. as the season starts to wind down i find myself watching the games no matter what. i love hockey. it's my favorite sport. during the offseason all i think about is next season. now next season is truly gonna be something to look forward to. dipietro is gonna be fully recovered, hopefully. i mean dipietro going down so early absolutely killed us. he wins so many games for us. without him this team goes absolutely no where. we've got bailey and okposo who have been playing amazing, especially okposo in particular. everytime he has the puck he can make plays, it's really fun to watch him play. maybe we'll sign long island native mike komisareck who would be perfect for this team. bergenheim, nielsen, hunter, park, this team has got a lot of positives. like i said before jack hillen should step in full time now. you throw tavares, hopefully, into there along with a couple other great prospects, you have yourself an extremely good team in around 2 or 3 years. its a long process which requires a lot of patience, but it will pay off soon. i absolutely love what garth snow has done with this team because it is what it so desperately needed. he's a gm who at first i was like what the fuck is he doing here but he has really won my respect and is doing a hell of a job. i've also met him once too he's a pretty nice guy. one time he went to visit the fans waiting in line for tickets, and this was like two years ago when bergenheim wasn't on the team in russia. i asked him i was like whats the deal with bergenheim is he coming back? and he was like well we'll talk to him at the end of the season is seeing his situation. in a nutshell, he came back. i like to think i helped in that process. definitely not, but hey its still kind of cool. being an islanders fan isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination, but in due time the isle faithful will be rewarded. garth snow is building a team that will lead us to the promised land.

on another note, the knicks are playing amazing basketball. just demolished the raptors yesterday 127-97. i smell playoffs.

why hello there. so its been a week since my last update, dag. i dunno i was home for the weekend and i just enjoy writing these more on my laptop. that computer back home, well thats seen some shit. but the one before that i had for like 7 years so that saw a lot more shit. anyway my point is it's time for this computer to have all its glory. what the fuck am i talking about, i don't know. lets see what's new with me. it's been a week. hm, not too much going on. i cleaned my apartment today, or at least my room and the living room. i put up this sick captain america poster next to the dining room table. it's really quite hard to get anymore patriotic than captain america, so the poster is serving its purpose well. america, fuck yeah. kickin ass since 1776.

ok, now that i've had a couple days for the news to settle, i can try to get my composure back and attempt to write something besides three words of capital letters. blink-182 reuniting is the best news i've had in a long time. these obsessions i have i take to a way too unhealthy degree. i think thats what people like about me. if nothing else, you know whenever you hear something about blink, the islanders, or quentin tarantino, something in the back of your head makes you think of me, andrew southard. i got at least 7 or 8 phone calls when travis got into that terrible plane accident. i mean who remembers the build up to the dark knight? i couldn't think straight for months. at the end of the day its about enjoying the simple things in life. sports, films, music, it's important to have passions. i'm trying my best to make a career out my love for film. we'll see how that goes. at the end of the day, my life is pretty good. i've got a group of best friends all of whom mean the world to me, blink-182 is back together and say anything should be coming out with a new album soon, and well, when it comes to the islanders, there's always next year. i'm pursuing my dream of becoming a filmmaker, and if i fail at that i know i tried. hopefully one day i can find a decent chick but in the meantime just gotta keep on keeping on. rule number 76, no excuses play like a champion. it's how i live my life.

fate fell short this time, your smile fades in the summer. place your hand in mine, i'll leave when i wanna. it's blink-182 week here at lifeinsideandrewshead.com. because lifeinsideandrewshead.com, we, or i, make sure, to completely 100%, try to give you the best perspective of what is going on inside my head. thats the whole point. LIAH. life inside andrews head. and now, more than ever, i am excited. my favorite band in the world is getting back together. it's been 4 long years without blink. pretty much i had to go through the hard parts of high school without blink. other bands have stepped up, say anything is right up there with my favorite bands, but i needed my blink. i've loved this band since like 5th or 6th grade. over the years the love has only gotten stronger. because that's how fucking amazing they are. +44 and ava were nice to tide us blink fans over somewhat. i like ava. roseland ballroom was a fucking awesome concert. and +44 had some pretty good songs on that record. but, they weren't blink. it's finally time. there were sometimes when i honestly thought i would never see this day. watch the grammys tomorrow, CBS at 8. it's gonna be huge.

ah amazing day. blink 182, my number one favorite band of all time, is coming on stage together to present an award at the grammys. does this mean reunion? i'm not sure. but this is huge. lets just say when i saw this on my computer this morning there was a major fist pump. YES. lets all pray that this means they're officially getting back together. holy shit. imagine that?

on the first day god went there be light, and there was light. 2nd day, water, and there was water. third day, i'm not really sure, but he went on for 6 days until he was like nice, i just created everything that is everything, i am a beast. but that is until the seventh day. on the seventh day of creation, god said let there be dvr, and there was dvr. this is where the church, temples, mosques, whatever, this is where they are fucking up. if i was rabbi andrew and i was trying to convince people there is a god i'd go, "people, it's quite simple. there is this thing, called dvr. it records everything for you, and you will never have a moment where you have to watch shit on tv. dvr. god's gift to humanity." you want to talk about life changing, holy shit. and yes a slight pun intended. holy, get it. i used to be one of those guys who heard people talking about it, and i thought i was too cool for school. i used to go to people's houses and i hated those fucking remotes. i was that guy who always pressed stop or pause accidentally and everyone was like WHAT THE FUCK. and i was just like, chill you cockknockers, which would then proceed with me going to cry in the corner and cursing dvr's name. well no more my friends. all time, greatest invention ever made. dvr. just slightly above the wheel.
