hope everyone enjoyed the little video. it's definitely something i'm gonna do more often than you think. not too often, but often indeed. liah #900 was a milestone of sorts, an exciting time you all witnessed. where do we go from here? right where we started and will continue to go, writing down whats going on inside andrews head. andrew southard. even though theres a lot of great andrews whose head i'd like to get inside, including the great andrew gelston. but sadly i can only offer mine. so whats new? i started my day with a mcgriddles, my new addiction if you haven't heard. and i'm writing this paper on rebel without a cause. god what a good fucking movie. it doesn't get much better acting wise than james dean. if you haven't had the experience before, pelase sit down to it. you look up cool in the dictionary, james dean. a true man.

oh boy! have a little milestone of sorts coming up! liah 900 tomorrow! 900 fucking liahs. wow. alright well when it comes i'll deal with that. do i have big plans for it? don't i always? we'll see what i can pull off. in the meantime enjoy your weekend. i'm pumped for the weekend. nfl draft on sunday. will the jets make the bold move and try to get sanchez? time will tell. there was a couple things i wanted to talk about today. but quite honestly i just don't remember any of them. i'm just feeling kind of better today. the concert last night was fun, i saw these guys simian mobile disco. it was like this huge electronic thing with all the lights and shit. it was cool. shit i was really going to talk about something here. i had an idea for something. whatever. get pumped! 900 could be tomorrow. or it could be in two days. or tomorrow could be 899.5. i don't think i'll pull that again, but you never know...

i'm such a bum. andrew southard. bum. whatever. it's 11 o clock am, i'm up. don't you hate it when you have to pee at like 9 but you don't have to be up for a while. so it's a big decision there, i can uncomfortably try to fall back asleep, or i can break my sleep completely and go pee, risking my sleep all together. i went with the latter, yes it was a risky move but risky move is my middle name. if my middle name wasn't benjamin already. anyway, the draft is this weekend! the nfl draft, not the nhl obviously. cause that'll be huge and i'll be writing about it like weeks in anticipation. but anyway, the nfl draft was always one of my favorite sports days. there was a commercial on espn where they called the draft the best day of the year for you and your couch. i really took that seriously. and while we're dabbling in the sports conversation let me say something. anything. say anything. good band. but yeah, listen playoff hockey is great. i love it, absolutely love it. but being an islanders fan during playoff hockey? usually not the most fun experience especially when the douchers are in the playoffs. its ok though, because i know better times are ahead. we just went through year 1 of the rebuild and youth movement. that was tough. last fucking place. but hey, guess whose got the first pick in the draft. come june 26th, when johnny tavares puts on the islander orange and blue, it'll be our time. get ready. i haven't had a championship team since i was 9 years old. it's been almost a decade. i need it. i miss it. i crave it every day. it'll come.

hello. hope everyone had a nice 420. i know i sure did. well i had like some job thing lined up for today. it was an interview to hand out flyers. i thought it was at 1608 fulton street. i take like 3 trains to get there, literally, 3 trains. the 2, franklin av shuttle, then C train. so i went through a lot of effort. the place was at 1068 fulton street and the interview was wednesday. bummer. but whatever, life goes on. i've got a sperm check in 2 weeks cause april is pretty long. its all good. it'll work out. well i tell myself that so whatever works. go listen to arcade fire, it's fucking amazing.

one of my favorite holidays coming up. when people come up to me and ask, hey andrew, what's your favorite holiday? i proceed with the following, well 2nd place is st patricks day, but a tie for first with 420 and the fourth of july. so pretty much one of my, but arguably, favorite day's of the year is coming up. 420!!!!! yes!!!!!!! 420 in brooklyn son. theres so many great 420 memories, well actually ive only had 2 real ones but they've both been awesome. 420 two years ago? vader's backyard? come on that was fucking awesome. it was like the first time i skipped like 3 classes in a row, and also i was pretty much getting into weed at that point. not a noob, but i was definitely in my rookie season. last year, ahhhh. GREATEST WEEK EVER. AND 420 WAS DURING THAT WEEK. capital letters were extremely necessary. i don't think we'll ever get a 420 like that, or at least for a long time. but now, different scenario. in brooklyn. got a shitload of weed. there's a white castle next to the school. zman might come down. it's gonna be a hell of a 420. enjoy.

it's funny, i used to only write liahs on my home computer but now i just feel weird doing it. well thats what happens when you bring your mac but leave the charger in brooklyn. anywho had a nice little spring break over here in the dub. still got till monday, but i've got shit to do in brooklyn. i'm still like reeling -pun maybe intended- off the fact that my shoot went so incredibly well. we'll see how the film turns out after being developed, but hopefully all will be well. hopefully. knock on some serious wood. had some good times in the dub though, get ready for summer.

i've been quite busy, haven't had time to recap the awesomeness that was thurday. when i say quite busy i mean mentally busy cause the fact that i pulled off my shoot sucessfully(still to be determined after the rolls are developed but they shoudl be fine knock on wood) has just blown my mind. i just really impressed myself, like i knew what i wanted i had this so planned out. and i just fucking did it. and you know how like whenever someone wins anything they go down a list of people thanking them. well i didn't win anything yet i havent even developed the film yet, but everyone who was involved on thursdays shoot, everyone. thank you. thank you, thank you, thank you. i had a crew of 8 people, which is a lot for a student film, and it just worked out perfectly. in case i haven't told you about it, it's a film about two rival skateboarding gangs. so its a skateboarding film, but yet skating is kind of just in the background its more about like these suburban gangs who happen to skate. and some of the shots in this, wow, they're just gonna be so beautiful. i am really, really pumped to get these developed and take a look at them. hopefully they look good, and hopefully i can start editing. the film is due may 22nd, but i hope to be done before then. i'm gonna debut a trailer of it on lifeinsideandrewshead.com may 8th, and then the world premiere of my film will also be right here on lifeinsideandrewshead.com, may 21st. get pumped.

Well, hello. Officially on spring break. Yes I know everyone had their little break already, well I don't care. whoa. wait two seconds. what was up with those capital letters?? hm, i think its cause i just got done tweeting and i try to use better punctuation for those. wow. that was eerie. i've never done that before. i could easily just go back and change it, but i wrote this whole little thing already and the experience would be cheapened for you guys. any weird crazy mind blowing experiences i keep well documented. anyway, film shoot thursday. did i mention how fucking nervous i am about it? but yet excited at the same time. but still really nervous. let's hope for the best. oscar on three. 1-2-3 oscar!

ah, mini milestone coming up, liah 900. honestly, its not even that huge to me, 1000 will be like SHIT but 900 i dunno. what other innovations can i do. or am i just bluffing you right now and i'll bring the awesome to a completely new level. you'll just have to decide for yourself. in the meantime, well, not much going on. i have this film shoot coming up thursday, extremely stressed out about it. but at the same time really pumped. i havent dont a film shoot in like 2 years. and my last shoot in wp was the glorious scarlet letter. well actually technically the jacob burns thing was shot at this dudes house who lives deep into hall avenue. and hall avenue meaning next to buckout. meaning its not close to civilization. meaning it doesn't fucking count. for a wp shoot? who knows thats a stupid arguement anyway. i don't know what i was trying to prove there. i've pretty much discounted this liah already and have admitted to waste three minutes of your time. i'm sorry, it happens. enjoy your weekend.

and it all comes crashing down. just when i was feeling good about a lot of stuff, a whirlwind of shit blows in my face. i was supposed to get paid today, but now next week. major bummer, but hey i can deal. mt tom called me today saying they're all full for the summer and i handed my shit in too late. fuck, but hey i can still deal. i'll find something else maybe with more guap. but now kate murray, town supervisor of hempstead, pretty much the person in charge of allowing companies to build shit and whatnot cause she gives the zoning permits, well she has said nay in terms of the lighthouse project. what does that mean? that means that either the islanders will move to queens, or we're fucked. yeah i know, laugh it up. haha kansas city right! well fuck off. i'd like to see somethign you love dearly ripped out from you and possibly being thrown away forever. i love the islanders alright, and even ranger fans would miss the rivalry. say what you want now, but islanders rangers is as exciting as it gets in hockey. and you talk to any knowledgable hockey fan and they'll tell you this team is on the brink of being really fucking good. give it a couple years, and islander ranger playoff hockey will be back. pretty much everything in my life i've had to answer with, well there's always next year. islanders, jets, bitches, but there is always an end game. there is always next year. please don't take that away from me. please.
