LIAH #1028

for some reason i'm fascinated in the idea of the second sex in the city movie. i'm comfortable enough with my sexuality to admit that yes, i saw the first movie, and yes, there was a short time in my life where i watched a bit of the show. why? i dunno, but my point is i have a history and a slight understanding with it. the first movie, horrendous. i'm open to everything. 500 days of summer, one of the best "romantic comedies" there is. i have no shame in saying that i love that movie. the first sex in the city movie? not only was it terrible and had 0 story, but it had no morals to it. the lesson to women from that movie? its ok that a dude leaves you on your wedding day, don't be strong enough to move on just marry him when he comes to woo you back. bullshit, and really irresponsible.
so i see the posters for this new movie, and i just don't see how it could work as a movie at all. what the fuck do they have left to say? you did a movie with the whole mr. big storyline, ok, you did that made your money just let it die. what more could they possibly say? so after watching the trailer and studying it, i found two storylines. two things the producers think will get chicks to go see this. 1. carrie goes to a gay wedding in a tux. 2. one of her ex boyfriends comes back.
come on. female demographic audience, you can do better. please don't support this shit. have some backbone ladies.
