i looked at my watch today and realized what day it was. september 11th, no matter what it is always a difficult day to accept on the calendar. i looked at my watch while i was on the treadmill. yeah that's right, on the treadmill. at a gym. i joined a gym. quitting cigarettes i guess has it perks. anyway thats what happens when you have no internet or tv and lose track of society. it's kind of nice. no, not really, not at all.
much more importantly though, america. greatest country in the world. and may I? while we're on the subject. as intolerant and INSENSITIVE as it is to build a mosque two blocks from the world trade center, as americans we can never refuse people to worship their religion. we're not a religious dictatorship. we're not Iran. this is the United States of America people, seperation of church and state. say it with me again, seperation of church and state. come on. land of the free home of the brave. men and women are overseas now risking their lives for your right to live however you please and worship whichever religion you find necessary. if you worship God, Allah, or Andrew Southard it doesn't matter. this is exactly, EXACTLY, what al qaeda wants to happen to our country, for us to turn on each other and try to bring the hate out of us. that's what they were trying to prove but they were wrong. we're better than that. we're better than them. don't forget that. usa.
